Zenith
|
With oil prices kangarooing all over the map producers continue to look for ways to control what they can—production costs. In that spirit Production Lift Technologies is introducing a flexible and cost-effective well monitoring system that will provide real-time data to operators. This data will help producers optimize production
in all types of fields including CO2 floods, injection, pumping, ESP and flowing wells.
This system, from Zenith Oilfield Technology LTD, allows clients to select from five operation-specific options to
suit the technical, operational and economic requirements of the situation.
Zenith’s low cost system provides permanent gauges usually deemed too costly to deliver real-time well data that
is more accurate than fluid shots and is less costly and is not intermittent like slickline logs.
The six-parameter permanent system provides an economical alternative to high-end quartz reservoir monitoring gauges for PCP, jet pump and gas-lift wells. It delivers detailed well, reservoir and pumping system operational information.
|
|
To collect continuous data from high temperature and other harsh environments consider the hi-temp monitoring system. In wells rated to 250o C, Zenith’s permanent monitoring system reliably delivers continuous downhole pressure and temperature data in high temperature environments.
Zenith’s quartz monitoring system provides accurate data at high temperatures in artificial lift applications, enabling transient analysis of build-up surveys, reservoir pressure trend monitoring and reservoir temperature monitoring.
The PCP protection system from Zenith is designed to monitor and guard against common PCP problems.
It provides for full PCP condition monitoring including downhole rotor position, rod torsion and pump rotation
speed. These parameters, along with permanent pressure gauge measurements, provide the knowledge necessary to improve PCP installation, maximum run life and production.

LaBamba
It would be
great to read memory tools on a very regular
basis. But staffing challenges, rig
shortages and other issues mean certain
wells can't be checked on a predictable
schedule.
Production Lift Technologies is pleased to
introduce a new, long-life tool to the
Permian Basin. Called LaBomba, it can be
classified as a semi-permanent gauge.
Designed to run for two to three years,
LaBomba is ideal for long-term testing and
production monitoring of pump pressures.
|
 |
Here's how it
works: a piezo-resistive pressure sensor and
state-of-the-art acquisition electronic
module work together to provide near-quartz
quality temperaturecompensated data. The
LaBomba is designed with the capability to
acquire data at a variety of temperatures
and wellbore conditions.
With a diameter of 1.66 inches, the LaBomba
houses a single DD cell lithium battery that
is designed to operate the instrument for up
to three years, depending on the
temperature. Along with its extremely
efficient three-volt electronics, the
LaBomba uses very little power. |

New tool removes
sand from production fluids, extends life of
downhole pumps
Certain formations seem to produce enough
sand to fill a beach-and when that sand goes
through an ESP or PCP, it can cause damage
and premature pump replacement.
Production Lift Technologies now offers a
cost effective solu¬tion-Lakos pump
protection desanders. These desanders remove
sand from production fluids before they
enter a downhole pump, which increases the
life span and the efficiency of those
pumps.LAKOS pump protection separators do
this with no moving parts to wear out, no
screens or filter elements to clean or
replace-and they require no maintenance.
These
trouble-free and effective desanders can be
easily installed onto the suction end of an
ESP or PCP.As the diagram shows, the LAKOS
PPD draws production fluid through
tangential inlet slots into a separation
chamber.

It then uses
centrifugal action to separate the sand from
the production fluid, tossing that sand to
the perimeter of the PPD's chamber.Sand-free
fluid is drawn to the center of the
separator, then goes up through the vortex
outlet to the pump's suction. As the sand
ac¬cumulates in the desander, the flapper
valve opens and discharges the sand deep
into the well.

Frac Data Tool
|
Our Frac Tool
carriers are designed to be used with 2.875"
tubing string. They all have the same
diameter dimensions: inside 2.0", outside
3.668", and all are made with the oil
industry standard steel alloy 4140 L80.
As shown in the table below, we offer
off-the-shelf carriers in standard overall
lengths (OAL), with or without a fish neck,
and with variations in the type of connector
threads.
(If these dimensions do not suit your
equipment/job, please note that Frac Tool
carriers can also be custom-built to
customer specifications.)
NOTE: To assemble the Frac Tool to the
Carrier, use item 103483-see previous page.
